Hi, we paid 8.69 for 320z of chicken noodle soup and we had no chicken just a bunch of noodles and vegs. The soup was good but not for 8.69 please explain this. Thank you! We shop there three times a week and have not ever complained but 8.69 for soup with no chicken seems odd. I can be reached 813-892-6899! Thanks Ron
Hi Ron – sorry to hear about this! What store do you shop at?
Hi. Recently, our family has decided to make better food choices and have been shopping at your store. I like your product selection, though I always felt it was better in Asheville. We lived there years ago and just loved it. However, I am disappointed in the prices. And my main complaint about Eartfare and other stores like it is the heir of superiority. The store seems more concerned with music selection and the look and overall feel of the store than the actual contents now. I guess I just really would like for the way we eat and the products we eat to really change in America. And as long as these stores keep catering to the snooty elite liberal artist crowd, that will never happen. It feels like if you are a normal person, who doesn’t want to listen to whatever zen type music and smell patchouli, then we don’t fit in at any of the earthy stores. And if Earth Fare and the like truly wanted to make a difference, they would find out what it takes to get these products to the masses. Not just Earth Fare, but the companies that sell these products as well. Look at the fancy packaging, etc. couldn’t they save some money on that and just sell the product? I thought the goal was to change how we eat in this country. Stop the GMO products, stop the food coloring, selling local produce, etc. Just some thoughts.
Hi Dee – thanks for taking the time to leave your comments. We spend a lot of time deciding on which products we carry in our stores and sometimes products that we carry in one store we might not carry in another store because of the region or type of population. We generally try to keep the look and feel the same throughout all of our stores but they do tend to adapt to their surroundings. For instance, our store in West Asheville is VERY different from our store in South Asheville and they’re only a few miles apart! But we do hear what you are saying and we want all types of people with all types of different backgrounds and upbringings to feel comfortable shopping in our stores.
The products that we bring into our stores all fit under our Food Philosophy (http://www.earthfare.com/EarthFareVersion2/Home/What-You-Eat/Food-Philosophy.aspx) – for instance, we ban artificial food coloring in our stores!
We appreciate your feedback and we’ll make sure your comments are heard.
