Heather’s (and Snickers’!) story (in her own words):
So, I adopted my dog Snickers from a rescue several years ago. I did tons of research on dog food, and decided that I would put him on organic, healthy dog food. Expensive as it was, I did it.
As a result, his health is fabulous and his coat is beautiful. His food doesn’t have the fillers or byproducts in it, and so he eats less…and produces less waste.
Recently, I stopped by a vendor table set up in the hospital where I work for a chiropractor/wellness center. I entered into a lengthy discussion about wellness with the representative. Bottom line, she asked me “So, you spend good money on making sure that your dog is healthy but you continue to eat…well, basically crap? What about taking care of yourself?”
Well, let’s just say that was an interesting turning point for me. After all of this time, I am now trying to do the same for me by learning about healthy, organic foods!!
