We’re holding a twitter contest (technical term: twontest) this week! Entering is easy. All we want is for you to tell us, in 140 characters or less, what you think healthy means. We’ll accept twitpics, but we WON’T accept twitpics of words – no getting around that 140 character limit! We’re not looking for Webster’s definition, or for an exhaustive literal definition. We want to know what healthy is (or looks like) to YOU.
Be sure to tag your tweet with the #healthyis hashtag (that’s how we’ll track all the entries). You don’t have to send your tweets directly to @EarthFare, but you DO need to be following the @EarthFare account in order to win.
Questions? Send them via tweet to @EarthFare.
We’ll be reviewing entries from today until Friday at 5:00 pm. The winner will be announced on Monday, July 26, and we’ll be sending a $100 gift card to our favorite definition.
That’s it! To review:
- What does healthy mean?
- 140 characters or less
- Photos are allowed
- Tag your entry with #healthyis
- Follow @EarthFare
- Entries must be submitted by 5:00pm on Friday, July 26
- Winner gets $100 Gift Card!
Now get to tweeting!

Question:
What do you mean by this statement:
You don’t have to send your tweets directly to @EarthFare, but you DO need to be following the @EarthFare account in order to win.
Specifically, “you DO need to be following the @EarthFare account in order to win. Do you simply mean staying connected via watching for posts and emails?
Thank you for clarifying this for me.

@Leslie – by “following,” I mean that you must, from your personal twitter account, click “Follow” on @EarthFare’s twitter account. It’s a twitter-specific term
